We would like to offer you an opportunity to take your martial arts practice to its next stage of evolution and begin training for the coveted Black Belt.
The rank of Black Belt is held in high regard as it is only obtained by those that have proved the values of dedication, physical mastery and a displayed a 'never give up' attitude. When you obtain your Black Belt you tell the world you are a dedicated, hard working individual with high values able to perform your martial art to an exceptional standard. You walk tall and carry your martial arts understanding into daily life creating a strong foundation for success in all challenges that may lay ahead.
The Cadet Black Belt Programme.
The Cadet Black Belt Programme will take the student on a journey of discovery into aspects of the Wing Chun System NEVER taught in regular class. They will be taught how to use the traditional weapons of the system, learn Chi Kung , Chi Sao and develop the Forms within the system to a higher level.
The programme is taught in 2 hour training sessions once a month to be held on the last Saturday of each month (afternoon or evening - TBC).
Curriculum:
- Luk Dim Boon Kwan (The Wing Chun Pole) Cadets will use a foam covered pole
- Bart Chum Doa (The Butterfly Swords) Cadets will use safety wooden swords
- Chi Kung (best described as a Chinese Yoga)
- Chi Sao (sticking hands or combat training) No contact until over16 years old
- Forms (first and second form structure and applications of techniques)
Structure:
You will be issued a Cadet Black Belt training passport to be brought to each session. The passport will stipulate the curriculum and training plan. As each level within the passport is achieved to an acceptable standard it is signed off by an instructor, you would then move on to the next part of the curriculum.
At the end of each school term we will host Regional Cadet tournaments for you to participate in at no charge. They will be judged on ability to perform the techniques you have been taught. The tournaments will be fun to attend with the chance to win trophies, medals and certificates. It is also a great opportunity for you to show your family how you are progressing as the tournaments will be open to spectators.
On completion of each year of training you will be presented with certification to show your advancement within the Cadet programme and on completion of the whole programme will be awarded your framed Cadet Black Belt certificate and Cadet Black Belt.
At this point you will be offered the Junior Coaching Programme should you wish to take your art even further and eventually even join the Coaching Team!

Your cost:
Join now for only £79 start-up and save £46 off the regular price of £125 start-up. This covers the cost of all equipment needed for year one of the programme and all accreditation and certification, you will receive:

- Entry to all Cadet tournaments
- Yearly certification
- Discount on shop purchases and in house events (usually 10%).
- No tuition fee increases . Locked in for 24 months.
- 10% off Kung Fu birthday parties (New for next term, trophies for the birthday boy or girl, medals for all. Fun and martial arts games and drills).
Monthly charges for Cadet sessions are £15 per month payable by standing order or a one off yearly payment at a reduced price of £150.
